Leeuwenhoek was the first person to describe bacteria (from teeth scrapings), protozoans (from pond water), helped to prove the theory of blood circulation

Introduction

Microscope is an optical instrument, consisting of a lens, or combination of lenses, for making an enlarged image of an object which is too minute to be viewed by the naked eye.
During 1632 , the microscope had been discover by Antony Van Leeuwenhoek also called the father of microscopy. He spend along time to constructing simple microscope .he was able to see things that no man had ever seen before .Microscope used to enlarges of small objects. For example microorganism. Also we use it in school and at home trace their history back almost 400 years.

Part of the Microscope

There are many structure in a microscope . First , the base which is used to support the entire microscope . Second , the lamp which act as a light sources . Third , a condenser which concentrates and focuses the light waves . Fourth , the stage in which the slide is placed . Fifth , a slide holder which is used to hold the slide that’s enable to move. Sixth , the coarse adjustment knob which is used to move the side slowly . Seventh , the fine adjustment knob which is used to move the slide faster . Eighth, the arm which is used to support only the tubes relative to the stage . Ninth, the revolving nose piece which is used to change the objective lenses . For example , scanning objective lens that magnifies 4 times , lower power objective lens that magnifies 10 times , high power objectives lens that magnifies 40 times and oil immersion objectives lens that magnifies 100 times . Finally , eye pieces which is used to magnifies primary images .

Eyepiece Lens: the lens at the top that you look through. They are usually 10X power
Tube: Connects the eyepiece to the objective lenses
Arm: Supports the tube and connects it to the base
Base: The bottom of the microscope, used for support

coarse adjustment knob-large: round knob on the side of the microscope used for focusing the specimen; it may move either the stage or the upper part of the microscope.

fine adjustment knob-small: round knob on the side of the microscope used to fine-tune the focus of your specimen after using the coarse adjustment knob.

Light source: Located directly under the stage

Stage: The speciman slides rests on this part of the microscope

The process for using the microscope consist of several steps . First of all , the stages should be lowered . then , the slide is placed on the stage The objective lens are rotates by revolving . After that , the stage is higher by coarse adjustment knob until the object is viewed . Finally , obtain definitive focusing by fine adjustment knob .

Conclusion

Microscope is instrument for producing enlarge image, It has the same component at different type such as ,stage ,arm, eye piece...so on. It use to study the organisms that usually too small to can be see by necked eyes. It is help to discover disease and how to treatment ,also it help in the development of biological science by use it for research .

There are basically two types of microscope . A high power means compound microscopes are used when looking at the smallest things . It consist of four objectives lenses and it also have a smallest things . While low power means stereo microscopes are used for reflected light observations . It consists of two objectives lenses and it also have a light above and below the specimen.

What is the difference between a microscope lens and a telescope lens?

A microscope lens is exactly the same as a telescope lens. Both of them are designed to take an image that is very tiny (in the case of a planet, "tiny" because it is so far away) and magnify its image. Now, we should bear in mind that there are different kinds of telescopes. A simple telescope such as you might buy in a department store works exactly like a microscope. Light comes in one lens and is spread out, making the image appear bigger. A second lens focuses the light from the center of the first into an eyepiece so we can see it clearly.Many modern telescopes are now reflecting telescopes. The "lens" is a giant concave (bowl-shaped) mirror that catches the light and bends it inward, to focus on a smaller mirror hovering above the center. It then gets reflected downward.

Packages nonverbal behaviors are contain the hands, the eyes, or the muscle tone of the body. The congruence happens when various verbal and nonverbal behaviors reinforce each other. For example, we can not express fear with eyes while the body relaxes such as sleeping. By far the whole body expresses the motion. The express an intense emotion with one part of the body is physically difficult to do.
